I’m proud to announce a foundational upgrade to our platform, one that redefines what a wallet should be. As CTO of Brickken, my team is focused on solving the real-world challenges that prevent widespread adoption of Web3. Today, we address the biggest ones, security and complexity, with the launch of the new Brickken Wallet.
This isn't just an update. It’s the first step in our mission to abstract the difficulties of the blockchain, making Web3 accessible and safe for everyone. To achieve this, we’ve integrated cutting-edge MPC technology from our partner, DFNS, and built an experience that changes the game entirely.
For too long, entering the world of digital assets has been intimidating. New users are faced with complex concepts like seed phrases, the anxiety of losing everything with one mistake, and the clunky process of juggling multiple wallets. We believe this has to change. You shouldn't need to be a tech expert to securely manage your assets.
We’re excited to be one of the first platforms to solve this. With the new Brickken Wallet, we introduce one-click wallet creation using Passkey technology.
What does this mean? You can now create a highly secure, self-custodial wallet instantly using the biometrics you use every day, such as your Face ID or fingerprint.
Behind this incredible simplicity is the engine that secures it: Multi-Party Computation (MPC), powered by DFNS. Instead of a single, vulnerable private key, MPC technology splits the key into separate shares. These shares are used to approve transactions without ever being combined, eliminating the single point of failure that puts traditional wallets at risk.
The result is the ease of use of a simple login, with a level of security that is far superior to old-school private keys.
We understand that our users operate across the Web3 ecosystem. That’s why the Brickken Wallet is designed to be more than just a place to hold assets; it’s your new command center.
The Brickken Wallet interface now allows you to initiate transactions from your other wallets, such as MetaMask, directly from our platform.
Think of it as a secure aggregator for your digital assets. You can view your portfolio and start a transfer or an investment without having to leave the Brickken ecosystem. It streamlines your workflow, reduces complexity, and puts you in firm control, all from a single, intuitive interface.
