  1. Can you tell us about the history of your company and how it got started?

I founded the company in 2019, and we closed the first investment round of €50,000. But the pandemic started and upended all our plans, so we had to pivot the business model in 2021 in the middle of the pandemic. We were financed by ENISA with €140K and we raised almost €100K more through crowdfunding.

  1. What problems does your company solve?

Our value proposition is to provide personalized streaming audiovisual content recommendations to platform users so they don't waste time choosing what to watch.

  1. How does your company differentiate itself from competitors in your industry?

We have a part of the social network that allows interaction between users and our own AI algorithm that makes recommendations to each user based on their tastes and interests. Other competitors like justwatch or Letterboxd are more focused on being just a streaming guide whilst Bubbo leverages AI to make recommendations based on the social network.

  1. What are your short-term & long-term plans for the Company?

We want to continue growing our leisure and entertainment ecosystem by applying innovation and developing new functionalities that add value to the user through connected interactive and gamified experiences.

Our mission is to increase our global presence and be an international company accessible from anywhere on the planet.

The main objective is to increase the value of the company to get listed on the stock market or have an exit in 3-5 years.
